3 journalers for this copy...
This is a book that I have always felt like I should read, but never have. So now I have it, in case I get around to reading it before I release it.
I got this from BountifulPots when she wheeled in with her big trunk full of books. I've heard of this one but I have never read it.
This book sat on my 'To be read' pile for quite some time but once I picked it up to read I had a hard time putting it down. This story of life in a small town in Georgia really comes alive in the narration of a teenaged boy. There's a quote on the back of the book that says, "It hurts to turn the last page." I would say that's about right as I really couldn't help but want the story to go on.
Released 17 yrs ago (7/3/2006 UTC) at Hammon's Field in Springfield, Missouri USA

Congratulations on catching this terrific book. I hope you enjoy it. When you finish this book, please journal again and share what you thought about the book. Then, please pass it along for somebody else to read. You could give it to a friend or leave it someplace, like a school, restaurant or wherever you think it might find a reader who'll love it! It would be great if you'd join. Then you could track where your books go. If you do want to join, I'd love it if you would use ALRESCATE- - that's me-- as the name of the person who referred you.
