After a heavy night of tequila, flatmates Dave and Danny set off on what turns out to be a 24,000-mile journey to meet all the other Dave Gormans in the world. They visit Scotland, Israel, America, France and Ireland. They even hold a party in London where 50 Dave Gormans attend, including two women who have kindly changed their names via deed-poll. Silly but engrossing, this is a touching story of two friends who grow to share a mutual obsession.

Yay I'm excited to get this! I LOVE Danny Wallace and I consider myself part of his 'Karma Army' (which involves performing random acts of kindness). I've come to also appreciate Dave Gorman through his comedy so this shall be a hoot when I get to read it, thank you!

I absolutely loved this book and all I can add is that I wish I either was a Dave Gorman so I could join in (sorry, I'm not willing to change my name since I've had my birth name so long), or, that both Dave and Danny were my friends in life. What fun could be had from watching tv with a takeaway omelette to travelling around the world on a bet. Glad the bet got turned into a book!
