Artis Henderson's life was forever changed on November 6, 2006 when the Apache helicopter carrying her husband, Miles, crashed in Iraq, leaving 26-year-old Artis - in military terms - an "unremarried widow". In this memoir, she describes their life in the military prior to the crash, and her devastation after it, recounting how she gradually rebuilt her life and tried to move on. She really bares her soul, with all the hurt, pain and love - every emotion imaginable.
