When I saw this at the library book sale, I snatched it up immediately. Wow, a memoir about irritable bowel syndrome? What can't people write memoir about? I've never read any! Sounds interesting!

However, I soon had buyer's remorse. This is a topic that's TMI for except a handful of people you're really close with. Why would I want to read about someone's problem inside the bathroom? Urgh.

So, this book ends up sitting on my shelf for a while, till now, the memoir bookbox gives me some incentive to knock it off my TBR.

The narration flows easily, making it a quick, easy and enjoyable read - enjoyable for me, not the author, obviously. It also makes me appreciate my body more, who lets me go through my day without much thought or worry, for the most part.
