I'm not quite sure why I picked this up from Fregatti, perhaps because I went wild having seen so many BC-books after a corona-pause of several months. Something on the cover whispered "Pick me up"!

Edit: Can't believe this; the book is on Chania's wishlist and I'm putting together a wee parcel for her!

I tried the book, but as I can identify myself better with the old ladies with computer problems than the young man in the spotlight I think I will pass this on to Chania without reading it.

Delightful book! I love it when almost nothing happens in Anne Tyler's book ( or at least nothing really big) but the story is still so full and intense. I wasn't disappointed with this one either!

Nothing dramatic in this story, but it didn't make it less enjoyable. A nice Anne Tyler novel, this time written from male perspective.
