Very enjoyable read. Although I have this idea that one should not plough through a book of poetry but rather read a poem and then take some time to think on it, I read this book in one sitting. Although several poems are not without trauma, as a whole, I found the book soothing. Bouvier shows great respect for family and ancestors, teaching and learning, the land and nature. I was instantly charmed by the title poem, Blueberry Clouds and became nostalgic for the plink-plink of my own family's blueberry picking.

So I went out to pop a couple of Canadian books in the LFL and found this one had returned. Exactly one year after I released it there for Canada Day 2021. It's a lovely little book, so I'll send it off in another direction later this month.
