I enjoyed the first book in the series that I treated myself to the others. I love Enzo but can't help thinking that with all the knocks on the head that he's had, it's a wonder he doesn't have brain damage.
The descriptions of places are so good that I feel like I'm there. Great story with an unexpected twist at the end.

A wishlist book for a birthday gift.

Thank you so much for this wishlist book, I enjoy Peter May's books very much. As my TBR pile is massive it may be a while until I can get to it.

It's been a while since I read the fitst book in this series, which I really enjoyed. This was just as good if not better and I'm looking forward to reading the next one. I'll try not to have such a big gap between books next time.
