From the back cover: Murder in the Mews comprises the exciting stories of four Hercule Poirot cases - - The title-story tells how Poirot is taken by his friend Chief Inspector Japp to investigate the death of a young woman supposed to have shot herself, but soon perceived by Poirot to have been murdered. A green quill pen on a writing bureau catches his eye; he examines it - and is puzzled. Moreover, the room does not smell of stale smoke though the window is closed and ten cigarette stubs lie in an ash-tray. What has happened? The second case, The Incredible Theft, deals with the theft of the plans of a new British bomber from the house of a Cabinet Minister. In Dead Man’s Mirror, Poirot is invited to visit a baronet who believes he is the victim of fraud, and on arriving at the country-house finds his host shot dead in the locked study. On the wall behind the desk is a shattered mirror, seemingly struck by the fatal bullet. The fourth case is entitled Triangle at Rhodes; Poirot is on holiday in the beautiful Aegean island and has reason to warn a girl that murder is being planned, but his advice is rejected, with tragic consequences.

Excellent Agatha Christie stories as always! If I had to choose, my favourite was perhaps the title story.
