I have to sya I tried to read this and couldn't get on it with at all! I can't watch the film either as I just don't like it. I am not prudeish at all but I think this is just sick. Anyway, this is part of a box set called The Essential Collection from Penguin Fiction. I used to own this, then passed it on to a relative and then in a bizarre twist have got it back in a tombola at my sister-in-law's house during a Cake Break for MS Society! Funny, huh?

Ok, so I was going to release this but then the car broke down on the way home from Nottingham meet up and I had this in my bag to release later and I started reading it and now I really like it..well so far anyway! So I am keeping this and will read it before deciding what to do next!! So changeable I know!
Ok, so I started to read it and quite liked it but have hit a brick wall with it and really have no desire to finish it. It just doesn't push any buttons with me. Alex, the main character, just annoys me, maybe I am too old in my head for it or maybe not old enough...I will try again one day I am sure, but for now this copy is going to pastures new.
