I got this softcover from an eBay seller (along with another Mutts volume, a well-traveled BC copy - see it here).
The book's a collection of "Mutts" comic strips, a charming - and ongoing - strip about pet dogs, cats, and the occasional guest-animal. Some are slice-of-life comics, often touching on things that every pet-owner will appreciate; others go a more fanciful direction, with the dog and cat characters visiting scenes from fairy tales, or having debates about what the humans are up to. The running plot for "Crabby" - a crab who lives at the seashore and is, well, crabby - manages to be amusing within its very narrow guidelines.
