This hardcover was among the bounty of books I got from BCer tobysrus, who's downsizing and decluttering. Most of the unregistered ones will go direct to release, though I may dip into some.

Later: This one has some tempting recipes, and - as the title suggests - it aims at smaller-sized cupcakes. Combinations like lemon cream and meringue, apple and poppy seed, mascarpone and polenta - and some even more unusual - made me want to get baking! There's a whole chapter on chocolate cupcakes, and another on savory cupcakes (which I'd just call muffins, but they still sound good).
