This is one of the books offered to me by my friend and neighbour Blower from a selection given to her by another friend. The back cover blurb suggests it might be bit too thrilling for my taste - but I'll give it a go anyway!

From Google Overview: "In a large house in London''s fashionable Chelsea, a baby is awake in her cot. Well-fed and cared for, she is happily waiting for someone to pick her up.
In the kitchen lie three decomposing corpses. Close to them is a hastily scrawled note.
They've been dead for several days.
Who has been looking after the baby?
And where did they go?"

Three stories that come together to form a whole. Or maybe one story told from three different angles. Either way, it jumps around in time and place to tell a rather unpleasant tale with some decidedly unpleasant characters . . .
And it had me rapidly turning pages from start to finish . . .

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

To my friend and neighbour Blower who passed it to me in the first place. It might prove a little too thrilling but it IS a page-turner and it is worth a try . . .

From my friend and neighbour Nu-Knees.
This came with a warning about the characters and content.
I've taken a risk and started this book and can see how hooked you can get.

I don't usually read a book so quickly but managed this in two days.
It's a disturbing story but I couldn't put it down.
It was a very 'nice' ending . I was expecting something a little more dramatic but they had a hard life and deserved a bit of happiness!!

Good story
Easy read, a page turner indeed that leaves you guessing and getting it wrong all the way.
This book was left in my Little Library and I am very grateful to the person who left it not only because I have been wanting to read this particular book for a long time but also because it introduced me to this concept of "Book crossing". This person also left a few other books which I plan to read soon. Thank you very much!
