I've registered this at BookCrossing.com so that I can keep up on where it goes, who reads it, and what they thought of it. If you like the BookCrossing concept, you might want to register yourself with a screen name, so that you can keep up on this book, and maybe release others also! It’s all confidential (you’re known only by your screen name and no one is ever given your e-mail address), fascinating, and fun!
Thank you for picking up this book. I'd love to see an entry letting me know it is safe with you. Do with it as you please... read it (or not!), give it to a friend, keep it, leave it in the wild - it's up to you! Enjoy! If you like you can mention me, booklady331, as the one who referred you.
Enjoy! Wishlist RABCK to ReallyBookish for Sapphire Release Challenge 2020 - lots of blue on the cover.
Received safely. This looks great. Thank you so much!
An enjoyable read... very atmospheric and immersive. I felt that the first half of the book was stronger than the second half and the ending was not quite as satisfying as I had hoped. But I definitely enjoy Setterfield's writing, even if this one didn't blow me away quite as much as The Thirteenth Tale did. A very solid novel!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
This is headed out as part of the wishlist tag game. Enjoy!
Arrived safely. Thanx for the tag, and looking forward to this new-to-me author!
Leaving this unrated as I just couldn't finish. Granted, my expectations were pretty high after The Thirteenth Tale, and this did capture my attention in the beginning, but I think the small-town gossip with the multitude of characters, each with their own fantastical interpretation of events, just didn't sit well personally.
That said, I will keep seeking her other (and future) books!
