What a lovely book & theme!
This is a used copy, and was originally selected with the idea of cutting some pages out to frame. Alas, can't bring myself to destroy this (or any) book.
Discovered some new-to-me artists & pieces (like Eybl, and an art nouveau). Not sure that I'd agree with all of the author's assessments on certain ones, but the overall history on literacy as it pertains to women was just concise enough.
Would be a perfect 10 if not for a few repeats...
