"You think you know bad neighbours. Think again."
"Until Darren and Jodie move in, Lowland Way is a suburban paradise. Beautiful homes. Friendly neigbours. Kids playing out in the street. But Darren and Jodie don't follow the rules and soon disputes over loud music and parking rights escalate to threats of violence."
Part of the brilliant Easter Parcel from my partner, Poppywalker.
I am registering it in her name. :)

Reserved for Estelle1806, for the INTL WishList Tag Game.
Currently reading it. :)
I just could not put it down... Wow, what a reading experience!
The peace of a apparently friendly street is shattered when disruptive new neighbours arrive: they listen to loud heavy metal music all day long, and set up a used car dealership without licence, as well as engaging in building work on the house inherited from a nice aunt that neighbours really liked.
This intrusion makes it plain to see that their relationships were not as they appeared, and when under stress, there are many changes in their former balance... until a terrible accident happens... or was it intentional?
The characters are very well depicted, and it was great to see the way they reacted to this new situation. There are surveillance cameras, WhatsApp groups, and all this stuff that now conditions our lives.
"Em tailed off, glancing at her phone. It was in her hand, as everyone's was these days, as if phones were dialysis machines that could not be out of reach without life-threatening consequences." (So true...)
I will be certainly looking for more novels by this writer, as she really knows how to hold an interesting plot...
Soon to continue its travels... :)
