I found this hardcover at a local Savers thrift shop, for another release copy. (Using the new Econo Labels with QR codes; will see if that encourages more JEs!)
It's a beautifully illustrated look at the life cycles of loons, from the perils of the young (there's a rather chilling sketch of a snapping turtle gazing longingly at the little loon chicks paddling above it) to the many unusual talents unique to the loon family.
