Mom thinks you've given her all your books, so you need a couple back. LOL! RABCK from my mother, Barbara, to LaveggioCoffee.
Thanks to you both, I love getting the unexpected wishlist book.

An enjoyable story, I think anyone would enjoy even if you haven't read other Elm Creek Quilt novels, as there are references throughout the story.

Selected from HI77's 3rd Annual Christmas Bookbox.
This was a wonderful introduction to this series. I love emotional family stories and this one did not disappoint me. It's a blend of past and present stories and I really enjoyed reading about their Christmas traditions. I plan on reading the series in order since this book is in the middle of the series and I want to know the whole backstory.

notes from my copy:
Later in series, but chronologically follows the story line. Elm Creek Quilts has been established as a women's quilt retreat for 2 years. Sarah & Matt (the young couple) are now employed by Sylvia, the last of the Bergstrom family and talk her into Christmas at Elm Creek Manor. Sarah finds a partially finished quilt that was worked on by generations of Bergstrom women and finds a way to pull the disparate skills and pieces together.
