I love it when a parcel gets delivered! Of course, it's happening rather more frequently in these pandemic days of online shopping, so I should be getting used to it, but an unexpected parcel of books is still a Big Event, especially when it also includes fancy biscuits and a birthday card! Thank you very much indeed, plum - it was a very exciting start to the morning :-)

It's what it says it is: an essay and six short stories, most with an introduction on how, when, why she wrote them.
It's very short, only 127 pages, several of them with only a photograph on, others left blank. Doesn't take long to read.
I found them interesting.

Six short stories, but boy are they powerful! A very interesting little book, which has left me ready to tackle The Long Song etc...
