Waking to the postman knocking the door with a book parcel is a lovely way to start the day and on a Monday morning it's a lovely way to start the week! Thanks, plum, for this very welcome surprise. Half a dozen mysteries that I haven't read - can't be bad!
As it's arrived unread, I'm happy to give it a go and see how far I get. Who knows, I might even finish it? :-)

Journal Entry 4 by Nu-Knees at Knaresborough, North Yorkshire United Kingdom on Monday, November 15, 2021
After a prologue at Eton in 1917, this story takes place in 1936, largely in Spain which is gearing up for civil war.
Having already been involved in a criminal investigation together, Lord Edward Corinth and Verity Brown, journalist, try to solve three murders, which may or may not be connected and may or may not have their origins 20 years before in the bullying and unpleasant of an English public school . . .
OK, nothing special, would read another from the series if it came my way but wouldn't go looking for any!
