Waking to the postman knocking the door with a book parcel is a lovely way to start the day and on a Monday morning it's a lovely way to start the week! Thanks, plum, for this very welcome surprise. Half a dozen mysteries that I haven't read - can't be bad!

Apparently Robin Paige is the pseudonym of writing-team Susan Wittig Albert and her husband Bill Albert.
This tale of smuggling and murder takes place in Rottingdean in 1897 - but it's a rather American view of Victorian England, one I didn't find wholly convincing.
I won't bother finding any more in the series!

Carrying Happy Christmas and New Year Greetings to a BookCrossing friend :-)
Thank you Nu-Knees and hello to Plum-crazy!
I actually enjoyed this book. Yes, it's an American view of Victorian England, but if you don't take it too seriously, it's a good read. Recommended.
