Fun and endearing! When Aster finds that he doesn't conform to the gender expectations held by his magical family (girls and women are witches, while boys and men are shapeshifters), he has to determine a path forward. Ostertag explores issues of family, friendship, and gender, but without ever being heavy-handed about it. Recommended!

I put this in a release bag and propped it at the base of the LFL. That's what I feel comfortable with given the pandemic. Hope the finder enjoys the book!
