Taken from my bookshelf to register during the Covid-19 stay at home.
I read this book a couple of years ago, and here is what I thought of it then -
“Rushed through this so I could have some perspective before seeing Jane Harper in conversation at the Atheneum last week.
A fast paced story of murder set in the dry harsh landscape of a drought stricken farming town. Well written, clearly evoking the harsh landscape, and bringing out some past prejudices as the current murders are investigated by a returning local against the back drop of an unfortunate death he was linked to twenty years earlier”.

My husband and I are travelling full time in our caravan around Oz. We stumbled across the book after our early morning scenic plane flight over Birdsville. The book has been a great companion over the past few weeks and journeyed hundreds of kilometres.
