A fun mystery of the "Princes in the Tower" as told by a police officer who is bedridden and bored. He sets out to determine what really happened to those unfortunate boys and finds that the history books are full of propaganda and mistruths (who knew!?). This was written in the 1950's and although it was a bit dated, I found it charming and engaging and loved the historical elements as well as watching Alan's mind unfold the mystery.
