The Refugees is a 2017 short story collection by Viet Thanh Nguyen. It is Nguyen's first published short story collection and his first book after winning the Pulitzer Prize for The Sympathizer.

I bought this book at the Changi Airport in Singapore while flying back to Finland from Vietnam a few years ago.

This is a beautifully written book and a sharp account of people living between two worlds. Very touching, very eye-opening.
