I found this softcover in some bags of books left by the Little Free Library in Lincoln Park, Nashua. (This one had a receipt inside showing that it was purchased in Bangor, Maine in 2017.) Will be passing the books along to various LFLs when circumstances permit.
It's the first novel in the "Terra Ignota" series set in a distant future.
[There's a TV Tropes page on the series, with some entertaining tidbits.]

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Guidelines for safely visiting and stocking Little Free Libraries during the COVID-19 pandemic, from the LFL site here.
I left this book at the lovely and roomy TARDIS-themed LFL on this beautiful day. (The LFL was open and empty, with a number of books spread out on a quilt outside; not sure if it was to disinfect a la COVID or a simple cleaning due to weather/insects/general-spring-chore. Didn't see the owner, so I left my contributions among the others.) Hope someone enjoys the book!
