As of March 30th, the CDC said: “We are not concerned at all about paper-based materials like books being a transmission route” - but the situation keeps evolving and it never hurts to be cautious and sanitize your hands and frequently-touched surfaces.

Thursday, December 3: someone had left a whole bag of books sitting on top of this little library, so I removed some of my books to make space for the newcomers. This one will be looking for a new home soon. (Zoomable photo here.)

Wednesday, December 09, 2020: escape into a book! I left this one outside the Kakaako store, hanging from the cart corral next to the great reading mural by @wadsworthink and @punkyaloha (only a small part of this section shows in my photo) on the front of the building.
