This story is told in three sections, following the lives of one Russian family. It is a multigenerational saga with each section being told by a different woman in the family. The first sections was beautifully written and I couldn’t wait to continue with the story, following this family from Russia to the U.S., however the rest of the book was confusing and too drawn out.
