I got this hardcover, beautifully illustrated by Kenard Pak, from an online seller. It's about the different creatures that flowers "call" - that they attract in order to be properly pollinated.
"Flowers are calling a little black bear.
No, not a bear! He doesn't care.
They're calling a butterfly
to dip from the air."
The illustrations show different creatures and habitats, and a variety of plants - with occasional pages devoted to describing the flower types and how they're pollinated, showing the different shapes and explaining why they appeal to different creatures.

I left this lovely book on the bas relief iris plaque in the fragrance garden near the Stone House in Greeley Park on this lovely warm day; hope someone enjoys it!
