This book was really disjointed and I had to force myself to finish it. There were too many irrelevant characters and storylines. It was as if Hosseini couldn't decide on a plot so just added in numerous subplots without developing any of them. The characters shared the same fate as the plot. Too many and undeveloped. A disappointing read.
