An interesting tale of a woman who had an intelligence job in WW2 and how she puts those skills to use in post-war England. This was okay, and a quick read.

Oxfam Morningside find. Started with Sheridan's Fair Botanists & loved it. This is the 2nd of the Mirabelle Bevan books I've read. Enjoy then v. much as an easy, escapist read.
