I bought this book at my local library's quarterly book sale. My mother, who died when I was little, loved the song Bud the Spud. I don't remember her much, but I remember that she sang Bud the Spud... it's a happy memory for me and the song makes me smile still... so when I saw it in book form I felt like I had to share it. I don't know just where or when I'll do that yet, but... somehow :)

Released 2 yrs ago (7/2/2021 UTC) at Ingersoll Travel Centre (401 rest stop) in Ingersoll, Ontario Canada

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I left this book at the Ingersoll Travel Plaza during a quick Tim Horton's stop tonight. I wanted to release this at a rest stop on 401 because "the police have been looking for the son-of-a-gun who's been tearing the tar off the four-oh-one," and this quick stop in Ingersoll provided a good opportunity. I left it on a rack that had a bunch of booklets geared towards truckers (I think they were sort of like classified ads for trucking jobs). It was towards the back of the travel plaza, near the washrooms and the area where the vending machines are (even though those are roped off right now).

If you've found this book, thanks for picking it up and checking out its journal! If you're new to bookcrossing, welcome. We'd love it if you'd stick around with us a while. I really hope that you enjoy both this book and the whole bookcrossing experience!

This book was released as part of the 2021 "52 Town in 52 Weeks" Release Challenge. Ingersoll was Town #20 for me. This book was also released as part of the 2021 "Canada Days" Release Challenge. Happy Canada Day!
