The characters weren't all that believable. The plot goes from silly to tiresome. Still, I wanted to figure out whodunit, so I kept reading.
Interesting that the action revolves around Hans Christian Andersen, Danish literary scholars, Danish antiques, and exchange students who spend time in Denmark; this is the first mystery I've encountered that deals with Denmark and all things Danish.

Gave the book to my friend Karen, an American reader of Danish descent. Karen says she loves these kinds of murder mysteries, and planned to start reading it as soon as she finishes her current read.
