From the back of the book:
"1911, and Isaac Bell of the Van Dorn Detective Agency assures a father he'll find his runaway daughter in New York. But it's a promise he'll never keep. Days later his search uncovers her murdered body..."
Not a bad read and a great cast of characters. Definitely worth reading more from the Van Dorn Detective Agency series.
