I've read this and all other Francises a long time ago, read them before I knew it was Mrs. Francis who did all the writing, and after her their son Felix picked up where Mom had left. He wanted his name on the cover as well, so a couple of books were written by Dick & Felix Francis and when Dick passed away, it was Felix Francis, in the style of Dick Francis...

Now I remember why I liked these books so much back in 1980's! Very exciting and interesting, and even if I'm pretty sure I've read this one too earlier, I really couldn't remember any of it. But yes, nice to meet Sid Halley again after such a long time!
