Russbaum

Brought from London on holiday with me to avoid European customs fees and therefore posted from Theoule, FRANCE to Soderkulla, FINLAND to Kirjakko as part of the EU Wishlist Tag Game.

The book has arrived to Finland safe and sound. A lovely cover! And a combined book & chocolate shop sounds good IF people aren't allowed open the chocolates in the shop. Otherwise books will have chocolate all over their pages... I know, I used to work in a bookshop.

Making more than just a mental note that I've tagged Chania with this book. I'm putting together a parcel for her, so will read this hopefully in near future.

I have been without any sweets, buns or pastries for two weeks, so at the moment I have no cravings for anything sweet. I have actually lost 5 kg, which was a nice surprise. Anyhow, I don't know if it is my current no-chocolate diet or what, but almost everything the chocolatier mentions sounds yukky. I've never been a fan of truffles, but Bacon-and-smoked-salt truffles?? 😱

Finally finished. This was an ok read, but not the best of cozies - I would not be a regular at their shop. I had my suspicions and they proved correct.
Waiting for Chania's parcel to grow a bit more before I will send it off.

Christmas is chocolate time (and an excuse for late deliveries...)!

This was a nice mystery, not too scary. I would have enjoyed more "book-talk" in this, it was after all partly bookshop too. And I had to buy some chocolate yesterday when I was reading it....
