Tensions between the fae and humans are coming to a head. And when coyote shapeshifter Mercy and her Alpha werewolf mate, Adam, are called upon to stop a rampaging troll, they find themselves with something that could be used to make the fae back down and forestall out-and-out war: a human child stolen long ago by the fae.
Defying the most powerful werewolf in the country, the humans, and the fae, Mercy, Adam, and their pack choose to protect the boy no matter what the cost. But who will protect them from a boy who is fire touched?

Ah, that was a quick and fun Christmas Read, I really missed this! I spent the whole day of the 24. In front of the fireplace, sometimes even with the cat on my lap (!!! She usually prefers to stay away from people, esp. from those who only visit every few weeks). So, the circumstances were very good.
Furthermore, this book had everything I hoped for: interesting fae, a realistic development of the main characters and a good story. This time, less action and more politics, but I didn’t mind.
Love the new wolf, Sherwood Post. I really hope to read more of him.

Yay! The first two of the Patricia Briggs RABCK have arrived- and the packaging was so festive, thank you. I look forward to reading these - maybe once I've read any that might be missing in the series.
