I got this softcover at a local Savers thrift shop. It's an account of the loss of three British fishing trawlers in the first months of 1968, in the storm-tossed north Atlantic - with only one survivor from all three crews. The working conditions of fishermen, the difficulties with communication and weather forecasting at the time, and the tragedies that resulted are described here with plenty of photos, news clips, and interviews. There's heroism as well, among the trawler crews and among the many rescuers - some of whom lost their own lives in the attempt to save others.
