I got this hardcover at Barnes and Noble. It's a kind of spin on the story of "Tam Lin" and on changeling myths; here, a girl loses her baby brother Thomas to the fey folk (or the "Kinde Folke") after accidentally uttering words of praise about him. She goes on a quest to find him and bring him back, taking along the hideous Guest, the changeling left in his place. The quest involves other characters who have their own motives regarding the children, and between that and the otherworldly time-shifts between the mortal realm and that of the fey, things get more than a little weird... but will Mollie be able to save her brother? And what will become of Guest?
