I got this softcover at Barnes and Noble. I enjoyed To Make Monsters Out of Girls by the same author; she uses poems to build up a story. Here, while grouped into categories "the trial", "the burning", "the firestorm", and "the ashes", the author points out early on that this is not about actual witches. "This is simply a story where women fight against the manmade structure that has long overstayed its welcome."
The poems themselves describe all-too-common events in the lives of women, from the dangerous/criminal to the merely-exasperating. Entries include such things as "the anti-manic pixie dream girl", and "THE FRIENDZONE DOESN'T EXIST", and "know that anger has its limits, and act accordingly".

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Guidelines for safely visiting and stocking Little Free Libraries during the COVID-19 pandemic, from the LFL site here.
I left this book in this new-to-me Little Free Library in Salem Massachusetts, in honor of the dark history - and more light-hearted tourism - that centers on witches there. [This year the usual Halloween festivities have been cancelled out of safety concerns, but perhaps someone will enjoy the book!]

*** Released for the 2020 Spooktacular October challenge. ***
