I found this softcover in this Little Free Library in Methuen MA while dropping off some books of my own. (The book's more heavily annotated than I'd like, but perhaps it'll find a reader who isn't put off by that.) It's about a ring of orchid poachers in Florida - non-fiction, for all that it sounds so fanciful! It inspired a 2002 film adaptation - called, interestingly enough, Adaptation - with the end result being as much about the process of adapting books to film as about the subject matter of the book.
