I got this softcover at a local Savers thrift shop. It's an amusing mix of cat-behavior and human psychology, with the author taking tips from interactions with cats and translating them for use with humans - while pointing out the situations in which this does not work. I enjoyed the cat-anecdotes, and found some of the behavioral discussions enlightening. (I also enjoyed the series of quotes that opened each chapter; contributors included Neil Gaiman, Seanan McGuire, Mark Twain, and more, with this little gem from Paula Poundstone: "The problem with cats is that they get the same exact look whether they see a moth or an axe murderer.")
