I got this hardcover from a local thrift shop. It's a cookbook based on the children's book Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, about a land where the weather involves foodstuffs falling from the sky. These recipes are inspired by events from the story, but modified to a world where food does NOT fall from the sky. Some look rather fun, as in the "Toasty Bread Houses" - ways to build little houses out of toast. And the "broccoli tree salad" might help encourage younger folk to enjoy their broccoli; nothing like some butter, garlic, and salt to enhance the flavor of miniature trees!

I plan to leave this book in the Little Free Library near the playground; hope someone enjoys it!
