This is the first book by Ken Bruen that I've read, and I will try and find some others. He is a good writer, creates a good character and sense of place. Although the cover reviews compare him to Ian Rankin, I don't think he is quite at that level of writing. His story is still a good read and if you like British/Irish/Scottish/Welsh mystery stories, you will enjoy this one.
