My Review:
This debut novel came on my radar by accident, and I am glad it did.
The story's chapters run in parallel of past and present, which for me is always a good way of keeping me reading (that, oh I have to get through this chapter to get to the next part from the last cliffhanger).
It promised "dark" and it delivered DARK covering a highly taboo subject, from a wholly unique and controversial viewpoint.
All in all, this is a carefully constructed novel, (which took 10 years to come to fruition I understand) which doesn't shy away from any aspects. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
