Runnymede, Part 4

My comments: I didn’t realize when I picked this one up it was part of a series and did not read the others. This one is a 100-page novella. It is basically a day trip to the beach with Julia, Louise, Nickel and Leroy. Its dialogue, bickering and gossip and a twist ending for Leroy. It was an enjoyable fast read for a day at the beach or for a quiet afternoon.

Thank you so much DVG! This wish list book finally made its way here! Made a little stop on its journey but has arrived at its destination! Thank you Bkind2books, your books will be on their way too. I know exactly what you mean about real life (work) getting in the way of my BookCrossing activities!

PS … don't think I missed the Bugs Bunny reference! I see what you did there!

Aug 10, 2020: Will be released as part of Booklady331's KTM Challenge (Link) when I'm finished reading it as part of my Reduce Mount TBR Challenge.

August 16, 2020: Just like DVG, I didn’t realize that this was part of a series, and had not read the others. However, this 100-page novella stands well on its own. It basically describes a day trip to the beach with two sisters, Julia and Louise, and their children Nickel and Leroy. In bits of dialogue, scenes of interaction, we see how a family comes together to get past a difficult time. A sweet book.

Wow! Thank you very much. I came back home from a fabulous weekend at the Dance Flurry festival to find a mailbox stuffed to the gills with 2 generous packages of books & treats.

I can't think of the title but I'm sure I've read and enjoyed something by Rita Mae Brown before. I'll have to look it up. In any case, I look forward to this.
