Claiming this one from the Hodgepodge Diminishing bookbox. I've enjoyed several books in the "Goosebumps" series, not least because they often have quite dark endings.
This one opens with a bang - young Hannah wakes up to find that her house is on fire, the flames surrounding her in her bedroom... and then she wakes again to find things back to normal. Or are they?
There's a nice sense of impending doom in this one as a mysterious being starts to stalk Hannah. Can she figure out what it wants in time to prevent a tragedy?
For me the big surprise in this one was the upbeat ending, something rather rare in this series!
[There's a TV Tropes page on the Goosebumps books, with some entertaining tidbits.]
