This is a simply written yet heartbreaking story of a young Nepalese girl who was sold into prostitution. As an adult readers of course we know a lot more than the narrator does and that makes what is left unsaid more powerful. The author also gives us a good clue why it may be hard for the girls to leave their brothels even if help is offered.
