WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I left this and two other books on the outside bench across from the front doors of the library.
I picked this up at a Barnes & Noble and began reading it immediately. Two pages in, I found it interesting enough to purchase. At home, the first fifteen pages continued on as interesting, Unfortunately, I finally hit a spot where all the characters felt flat and the dialogue felt contrived. So I put it aside and started reading something else, thinking I just needed to come back to it.
I went back to it twice after reading two other books and it only got worse. I think it was the dialogue that finally did me in. Reading it felt like walking into a cloud of gnats. There are some authors whose dialogue just doesn't flow by and through me, but instead feels disjointed and chaotic. I can't explain it any better than that even though this happens to me occasionally.
I'm disappointed because this had the potential to be a very interesting and entertaining story.
