I had to continually lay this book aside for "urgent" reading, which made the reading very difficult as there are a lot of names to keep up with (it is real-life). This book probably deserves a higher rating.

It reminds me of one of Larsen's earlier books, The Devil and the White City, due to the two simultaneous story lines that eventually converge.

Still, this is my least favorite of Larsen's books. I have read nearly everything he has written.
