You should have seen lukutuoli when she gave the bag to me at the meet-up yesterday. She was so excited. She said she would have liked to take a peek in the bag but you had tied the handles so well she didn’t dare to open them. And those knots – the boy scout/girl guide side of your family should be proud. It was quite hard to open the knots, so hard that lukutuoli got bored and returned to her seat without seeing what was in the bag. But I did open them, eventually.
First I found this book. Mordecai Richler! Never read him but wanted to do so for two decades, at least. At home I realized there’s a bonus, too: This book is registered by Potok-too. So happy to find one of her books in Finland. Thank you both so very much for this lovely surprise!
